ScottishPower Renewables congratulates Gillian Noble on her successful election to the Scottish Renewables Board, strengthening industry leadership at a pivotal time for Scotland’s renewables sector.

As Managing Director for Onshore Origination and Development, Gillian brings more than two decades of experience across the energy industry and currently leads major renewable development activity at ScottishPower Renewables.   

She said, “I’m delighted to have been elected to the Scottish Renewables board. Scottish Renewables plays a vital role in bringing together industry, government, and communities to accelerate the transition to a clean, secure and affordable energy system, and I’m looking forward to contributing my experience to support that work. 

“Having seen firsthand what can be achieved through focused collaboration across the entire Renewables industry, I’m keen to help ensure the sector continues to deliver investment, jobs and clean power for Scotland.” 

Gillian has played a key role in shaping sector wide collaboration, including chairing the Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council (SOWEC) Developer Forum and serving on the UK Onshore Wind Taskforce, helping to drive practical progress on delivery, investment and supply chain growth.
