Public Consultation
Public consultation round two is now live and will remain open until Sunday 30th November.
ScottishPower Renewables is in the process of developing MachairWind, a proposed offshore windfarm off the northwest of Islay and west of Colonsay.
Have your say
A key part of the project is the building and maintaining of trusted relationships with our stakeholders and communities.
Following our first round of public consultation (May to July 2025), the project team are returning to our host communities to share more information, specifically so you can:
- View and comment on visualisations of the refined windfarm development area from various viewpoints, including night-time visuals;
- Find out how your feedback to our initial consultation (May to July 2025) has informed decision-making; and
- Chat to the project team about our proposals.
