Energy company announced as EAAA’s Only The Brave’s first headline event sponsor

Offshore charging for both battery-powered crew transfer and service operation vessels could be on the horizon for windfarms of the future, according to two studies commissioned by leading green energy company, ScottishPower Renewables.

The first statutory consultation for ScottishPower Renewables’ proposed MachairWind offshore windfarm is now underway, with a virtual consultation room available online and community drop-in events taking place from next week across Islay, Jura, Colonsay, Ross of Mull and Iona.

ScottishPower Renewables has signed a four-year maintenance framework with Enspec Power Ltd for annual maintenance services of reactive compensation equipment installed across a number of its windfarms in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland.
