WSP, one of the UK’s leading engineering and environmental professional services consultancies, is to assess the environmental impact of the proposed MarramWind offshore floating windfarm secured as part of the ScotWind leasing process in Scotland on behalf of ScottishPower Renewables.

MarramWind has submitted the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Scoping Report for the proposed MarramWind project to Marine Scotland and Aberdeenshire Council – the respective planning authorities for the offshore and onshore elements of the proposed project.

Politicians, community organisations, landowners, fisheries representatives, council officials and members of the local community have attended the first public event for the proposed MarramWind floating offshore windfarm.
