Solar power, and other sources of renewable energy, have an important role to play as part of the mix of energy sources required to meet national energy targets, in particular the Government’s legally binding target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The solar farm has the potential to significantly contribute towards these national targets and to make a considerable difference in reducing national CO2 emissions.
