See below the most recent information on the examination process:
- The Examining Authority further written questions (ExQ2) and Commentaries on the draft Development Consent Order have been published. The published Rule 8(3) Letter dated 9 February 2021 confirms the deadline for receipt of responses.
- The Examining Authority Rule 8(3) Letter has been published, giving details of changes to the Examination Timetable and notification for events to be held in March 2021. The additional Hearings have been confirmed as below:
- Time is reserved for Open Floor Hearing 8 (OFH8), should any additional Affected Person request to be heard under Regulation 16 of the Infrastructure Planning (Compulsory Acquisition) Regulations 2010 (CA Regulations), on 8 March 2021. If no such requests are made, then this hearing will not proceed;
- Issue Specific Hearing 10 (ISH10) into Health and Wellbeing Assessment, on 9 March 2021;
- Issue Specific Hearing 11 (ISH11) into Flood Risk and Drainage on 10 March 2021;
- Issue Specific Hearing 12 (ISH12) into Noise, on 11 March 2021;
- Issue Specific Hearing 13 (ISH13) into Traffic and Transport, on 12 March 2021;
- Issue Specific Hearing 14 (ISH14) into Biodiversity and Habitats Regulations Assessment, on 16 and 17 March 2021;
- Compulsory Acquisition Hearing 3 (CAH3) including matters relevant to or arising from the Compulsory Acquisition Regulations if required, on 18 March 2021; and
- Issue Specific Hearing 15 (ISH15) into the draft Development Consent Order and other matters relevant to or arising from the Compulsory Acquisition Regulations if required, on 19 March 2021.
- The Examination authority has published the following:
- A letter relating to the Compulsory Acquisition of Additional Land
- Action points from Issue Specific Hearing 6 (ISH6)
- Action points from Open Floor Hearing 7 (OFH7)
- Notes from the Unaccompanied or Access Required Site Inspections undertaken on 25, 26 & 27 January 2021.
- The Frequently Asked Questions has been updated and published on The Planning Inspectorate website.
- If you have a legal interest in land affected by a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project and:
- have not been identified by the Applicant; and
- did not register to become an Interested Party;
- then you can make a request to the Examining Authority to become an Interested Party under s102A of the Planning Act 2008.
