Opportunities in Offshore
We aim to play a significant part in delivering the offshore windpower that is needed to support the UK's renewable energy targets. Current plans for 33GW of installed capacity around the UK's coastline by the year 2020 are ambitious and will require serious commitment and determination by major industry participants if they are to be achieved.
Our offshore success story has already begun with the consent of West of Duddon Offshore Windfarm, a 500MW project of which we own one third but this is early days for the offshore windfarm industry in the UK and we intend to play a full part in its future growth.
