Beinn Tharsuinn
The main goal of Beinn Tharsuinn Land Management Plan is to deliver conservation management for the benefit of the local landscape and ecology. The 194-hectare Land Management Area is enhancing an area of blanket bog, a globally important carbon sink, and re-establishing native woodland through the planting of over 20,000 native trees. These habitat improvements will also improve the foraging habitat of the resident black grouse population.
