IBERDROLA CONSORTIUM SUBMITS BIDS FOR FRENCH OFFSHORE WIND PROJECTS

A consortium led by Iberdrola, who have their global offshore wind headquarters located in Glasgow, has announced today the submission of two bids for windfarm projects off the Brittany and Atlantic coasts as part of the French Government’s competition to install up to 3 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind capacity.

IBERDROLA/EOLE-RES CONSORTIUM ADD NEOEN MARINE TO TEAM FOR BID SUBMISSION TO FRENCH OFFSHORE WIND TENDER

Iberdrola and Eole-Res announced today that they have signed an agreement with Neoen Marine to assist in the development, ahead of bid submission for the French Offshore wind power tender launched by the French Government4 in July 2011.

SCOTTISHPOWER RENEWABLES CONCLUDES THE ACQUISITION OF MIDDLETON WIND FARM FROM RWE NPOWER RENEWABLES

ScottishPower Renewables, the largest developer and generator of onshore wind power in the UK, has concluded the acquisition of Middleton wind farm, near Newton Mearns, from RWE npower renewables.
